The Oven Fit Check and Oven Lab run in your browser. What you enter or click is kept in page memory only: it is not sent to our server, not written to browser storage and gone when you reload the page.
Website hosting and logs
Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard connection data when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and may keep it in server and security logs. We use those logs only to run and protect the site.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
The site does not run advertising scripts. If we add analytics, this page will say which service, what it measures and how to opt out, before it goes live. WordPress may set a cookie only when someone signs in to manage the site.
Messages and corrections
A monitored editorial inbox is being set up; the contact page will list it. We will use a message only to answer it and to check the correction it describes. Do not send financial account details, passwords or sensitive personal information.
External links
Following a source or retailer link takes you to a separate website, which controls its own data practices. When approved affiliate links are active, the retailer may use them to attribute a referral; our disclosure explains how.

We review this page whenever the site’s data practices change, and the date at the top shows the last update.
